Points of Pride

  • Tradition- Canned food drive has collected more than 766,000 items over the past 25 years; EHS Diaper Drive, which provides diapers to families in need throughout the surrounding areas; various community service initiatives; SIDS awareness campaign; active and involved student council; “Friday Night Lights” EHS Wildcat Football; Homecoming; Veterans Day Celebration
  • Community- EHS is TRULY a community school.  The community supports EHS and EHS supports the community
  • EHS was ranked as the #4 Best High School in Missouri by U.S. News and World Report in 2019
  • Eureka High School is home to 10 National Board Certified teachers
  • EHS had 2 National Merit Scholarship Award Winners in 2020
  • Since 2016, EHS has had 24 Commended Students and 17 National Merit Scholarship Program finalists
  • From 2016-2019,  EHS has had 423 students with a 30+ on the ACT
  • 62 percent of EHS students take part in at least one AP course and 58 percent of those score a 3+ on the National AP Exam
  • Since 2017, EHS has had 32 students sign with the United States Armed Forces.
  • EHS has captured six team state championships and numerous individual state championships since 2000
  • EHS has sent more than 150 student-athletes on to compete at the collegiate level
  • ETC is one of the elite high school thespian troupes in the state and has one of the oldest active charters
  • The EHS Choir program boasts a membership of 175 students annually
  • The Golden Line Dance Team has consistently been the leading dance squad in the state, garnering state championships in 2007 and 2016 and placing in the Top 10 in the state since 1997
  • EHS has been recognized by Newsweek and The Washington Post as one of the Best High Schools in the U.S.
  • EHS students average more $4 million in scholarship offers annually
  • EHS has an amazing “Best Buddies” program that involves more than 100 students and staff members
  • The Cat Pound, EHS’ student spirit section of more than 400 students, has received Sportsmanship Awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018 from MSHSAA.
  • EHS boasts a state qualifying Robotics team
  • Certified Project Lead the Way school
  • Between $5,000-6,000 raised through Mr. EHS each year for various charities and individuals
  • Since 2005, EHS has had 21 members of its performing arts make All-State and numerous Superior ratings for the Orchestra and Band programs
  • EHS is home to a state-of-the-art STEM building that opened in August 2020
  • The Eurakana, EHS’ yearbook, annually wins awards for journalistic excellence
  • EHS’s equity and diversity teams, both staff and student, frequently present to area schools and organizations​
